Truro Cathedral Choir present the complete choral works by French composer Maurice Duruflé (1902-1986). Studying with Vierne & Dukas, Duruflé made his name as a recitalist and teacher of improvisation.
Duruflé’s music draws strongly upon the heritage of Gregorian chant, and provides a tranquil, beautiful compositional style, with pieces linked to the liturgical calendar.
