Beloved theologian and bishop Graham Kings has been writing poetry for thirty-five years, with many of his poems used in retreats and preaching throughout the Anglican Communion. This collection brings together Graham's poems on a range of devotional subjects, including the Church seasons of Christmas, Epiphany, Holy Week and Easter, and Pentecost, and on inspiring people from St Augustine to present day popes. Subsequent sections focus on holy places, prayer and biblical narratives and characters - notably women - and the collection concludes with a quartet of contemporary litanies.
