
David Humphreys performs on the Cathedral's organ (William Hill 1861, remodelled by Henry Willis & Son 1929 and rebuilt by Harrison & Harrison 1962), famous throughout the world due to the St Albans annual International Organ Festival.
The repertoire ranges from the symphonic French tradition of Widor and Franck to the virtuosic work of Messiaen and Hurford showcasing the instrument’s versatility.
