The Gospel-Centered Life in Exodus for Students is the first in a series of small group resources for teenagers and young adults that will help them trace God’s story of redemption through the whole Bible. Students will read and discuss Exodus together and along the way discover that they, just like the ancient Israelites, need a Redeemer. They will meet Jesus in such unexpected places as the tenth plague, in the wilderness, and at the tabernacle. Through twelve self-contained lessons, students will see their own need for redemption and how our holy God hears our calls for help, gives grace to the guilty, and rescues those enslaved to sin and death. They will uncover for themselves the pattern of redemption that is seen through the deliverance of God’s chosen people in Exodus and is fulfilled in Christ. Each lesson is self-contained, featuring clear teaching from Scripture, and requires no extra work outside the group setting. The self-explanatory Leader’s Guide in the back guides small group leaders with discussion questions and background material that clearly explain and apply the gospel truths from each lesson.
