The gospel is more than an offer of forgiveness; it’s the world-changing declaration that Jesus now reigns with all authority.
But what does a message need to include before it can justifiably be labelled as ‘the gospel’?
In this insightful and valuable book, pastor and New Testament scholar David Seccombe takes a careful look at the word ‘gospel’ and how the Bible fills it with meaning. Digging deep into Scripture with a sharp theological mind and an evangelist’s heart, he highlights important truths that are often overlooked in our modern summaries.
Once you grasp the ‘gospel of the kingdom’, you’ll start to see it shining through on page after page of Scripture. Better still, you’ll find your life and hope freshly centred on the risen and reigning Jesus.
