The writing was on the wall for the infamous King Belshazzar, an idol worshiper. Daniel interpreted the mysterious writings as a warning for the king, and sure enough the city fell to an invading army later that night. Christians, too, are guilty of worshiping false idols, but thanks be to God we have forgiveness in Jesus!
